- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational trade school or similar experience requiring mechanical aptitude and skill
0-2 Years
- Previous position requiring good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Works with a team supporting cabling, equipment, and device installations
- Learn to read and understand U.S. Navy ship installation drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and cable running sheets
- Learn to use hand tools and test equipment
- Develop leadership skills
- Strive for superior workmanship in a mission-critical environment

- Applicants will undergo a government security investigation; U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for clearance are required
- Must pass a background check
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record
- Work overtime as requested by management
- Maintain and safeguard company equipment, tools, and inventory
- Lift at least 100 pounds at once and 60 pounds for extended periods
- Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
- Work at heights up to 60 feet, climbing and balancing on scaffolds, aerial lifts, and ladders
- Perform routine physical activities including walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead
- Good vision (corrected if necessary), color vision, hearing, and ability to communicate in English
- Recognize problems or potential issues but not necessarily solve them
- Apply general rules to specific problems and synthesize information to draw conclusions
