Fleet Mechanic

Our client, an independent beverage bottler, is seeking a PM/ Fleet Mechanic to join their team. As a PM/Fleet Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the company’s fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PM/ Fleet Mechanic

Location: Broward, FL

Pay Range: $18-$21/hr

Shift: Mon-Th 3pm-11:30pm & Sun 12pm-8:30pm OR Tues-Fri 6am-2pm & Sat 7am-3pm

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all company fleet vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Respond to service calls and maintain tools and a clean work area.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance in the fleet.

• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience on light and heavy equipment.
• Experience with heavy-duty and PIT equipment.
• Excellent demonstration of mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• May be required to supply automotive hand tools (not including heavy-duty or diagnostic tools).
