You’ll work hands-on with modern BAS platforms, including:
- Tridium Niagara AX / N4
- Honeywell WEBs
- KMC Controls
- JCI FX
(Experience with all platforms is not required — strong proficiency in the industry is sufficient.)
Your RoleAs a Senior Controls Technician, you will serve as the technical lead on assigned projects, responsible for delivering high-quality BAS installations from start-up through turnover.
Your responsibilities include:
- Field programming and system start-up
- Commissioning and functional testing under live and simulated conditions
- Verifying sequences of operation and system performance
- Graphics and front-end installation, testing, and client training
- Troubleshooting and making real-world programming adjustments
- Coordinating with project managers, technicians, and clients
- Producing clean documentation, as-builts, and checkout sheets
- Supporting warranty calls as needed
You’ll work with minimal supervision while having access to management and engineering support when needed.
What Success Looks LikeWithin your first few months, you’ll:
- Confidently start up and commission assigned BAS systems
- Identify and resolve field issues independently
- Deliver projects that meet or exceed sequence and performance expectations
- Build trust with PMs, clients, and fellow technicians
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC/DDC/BAS controls
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
- Proven experience programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, control drawings, and sequences
- Professional, organized, and reliable on active construction sites
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
