About Us

Johnson Electric is a growing residential electrical contractor serving Northeast Florida. Position Overview

This is an entry-level field position working side-by-side with one lead electrician in a service truck.

You’ll learn how jobs are run, how materials are organized, and how to support service calls and project work. We’re looking for someone who brings good energy, shows up on time, keeps things clean, and wants to grow into a full-time electrician role over time.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist electrician with residential & lite commercial electrical tasks

  • Maintain clean work areas during and after jobs
  • Help load/unload materials, pull wire, mount boxes, and prep job sites
  • Follow instructions, safety standards, and basic electrical procedures
  • Interact professionally with customers when on job sites
  • Support daily operations with reliability and a strong work ethic

What We’re Looking For

  • Clean and organized work habits (truck, tools, jobsite)
  • Good common sense, willingness to learn, and ability to follow direction
  • Able to work independently with one lead electrician
  • Respectful, dependable, and honest—non-negotiable for our team
  • Interested in apprenticeships, NEFBA schooling, and long-term advancement
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical labor in Florida weather
  • Full-time hours, Monday–Friday
  • Opportunities for trade school/apprenticeship (NEFBA support)
  • Real promotion pathway as skills increase
  • Family-oriented team environment
  • Steady workload, clear expectations, supportive leadership

Why Join Johnson Electric?

Because you're not just another number or a “warm body on a truck.”

We invest in people who take pride in their work, show up consistently, communicate well, and want a real future in the electrical trade. If you want to build a long-term career—not just have a job—this is the right place.
