RWD Service Field Technician

Renaissance Windows and Doors is a growing manufacturer of premium-quality windows and doors in Florida. We have immediate openings for technicians in the field. A Field Service Technician is responsible for providing great customer service, replacing glass in windows and doors, installing items such as window screens, installing window and door sashes, handling hardware, and meeting company safety requirements.

• Drive up to 6 hours in a single day
• Replace glass in windows or doors; install items such as window screens, window or door sashes, and hardware
• Perform job‑site walk‑throughs and complete necessary paperwork; identify items that need attention or correction prior to project finalization
• Meet company safety requirements by keeping the work area neat and clean, following safety precautions, wearing required safety apparel (e.g., shoes, safety glasses, etc.), and reporting any safety issues to the manager

• Perform and complete service jobs on Renaissance Windows and Doors products in the field
• Problem‑solve and diagnose difficult issues in the field
• Provide customers with helpful information on care, operation, and maintenance of their window products
• Generate and update all service‑related completions in Service Module following a service visit so that additional service calls can be scheduled, if necessary, and billing or şöyle can be completed
• Conduct any necessary follow‑up service work or communication to bring resolution and a Very Satisfied Customer Service Rating from all customers; serve as a Customer Service Champion at all times
• Identify and order parts via Service Module
• Load service van with all necessary parts and equipment on an as‑needed basis, no less than weekly
• Abide by the company Mission Statement, striving to achieve 100% customer satisfaction, while making it easy for customers to do business with the company and promoting market share growth
• May be asked to assist in the training of new Field Service Technicians or employees in other departments
• Maintain assigned service vehicle
• Perform any other necessary task assigned by the supervisor or company in support of company goals or assistance with customer issues
• Complete service work orders and communicate any ongoing customer or product‑related issues with advisors
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be in compliance with the company Fleet Safety Policy
• Promote and facilitate continuous improvement activities in the department

• The ability to lift 75‑100 pounds

• Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• A technical degree preferable
• Ability to diagnose problems with equipment
• Great mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate in English

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour
