We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This position requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Interpret blueprints to determine plumbing system layouts.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as required for job tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure smooth and efficient project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a related trade.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools specific to plumbing tasks.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials to job sites.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with clients and team members.
- Construction plumbing experience
- Pipe threading skills
- Remodeling experience
- Plumbing License (Journeyman or Apprentice)
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
- Forklift certification
- Experience in both residential and commercial service
- Trade school education (optional)
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
