Overview

RQC, LLC is a full‑service contracting and design firm specializing in Design‑Build projects for public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense. We now have a national presence with projects spanning coast to coast.

Sheet Metal Worker/Installer – King’s Bay Naval Base, GA (full‑time, mid‑senior level)

$18.62 – $44.00 per hour, DOE – paid at required Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base.

Fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Technical application of mechanical principles using appropriate equipment and implementing required safety practices to support RQ’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. (minimum)
• 4+ years (or equivalent) field or trade experience as a journey‑level sheet metal worker in a commercial or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred.
• Experience in high‑bay areas and turning vein work preferred.
• Extensive rigging experience preferred.
• Hoisting certifications preferred.
• United States citizenship required; access to King’s Bay is limited to U.S. citizens only.
