Position Overview
We are hiring multiple Sheet Metal Workers/Installers to join our self‑perform team for ongoing work on Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding area. All work is performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage specific to the military base.

Pay Range: $43.47‑45.00 per hour

Responsibilities
The Sheet Metal Workers/Installers will fabricate and install ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring compliance with relevant codes. The work involves the technical application of mechanical principles and is performed with appropriate equipment while implementing required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position.
• Four or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience as a journey‑level sheet metal worker in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience is preferred.

Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check for access to the job site at the military base (if applicable for the position).
