Fleet Mechanic

Overview

Mid-Sized Construction Company seeking a Fleet Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic for an immediate opportunity. Responsibilities include troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and light/heavy construction equipment. Perform preventative maintenance in fleet. Respond to service calls, maintain tools. Pick up and deliver vehicles.

• Diagnose, repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, components, electrical and fuel systems, etc. for various powered and rolling equipment such as, cars, trucks, equipment, and generators.
• Install/diagnose and repair GPS tracking components as needed.
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing regular scheduled preventative maintenance of all company vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain appropriate service and repair records

• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment required.
• ASE certification preferred

• Candidate must be able to communicate with job-site personnel.
• Minimum travel is required.
• Clear DMV driving record required.
