Our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Jacksonville is seeking a General Aviation Maintenance Technician motivated to support military warfighter readiness by providing critical maintenance, repairs, and modifications for our military customers. The selected candidate will join our MRO team, supporting programs such as military derivatives, fighter aircraft, and aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul. Responsibilities include adherence to processes, accurate work recording, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. The position is based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Reading wire schematics and diagrams proficiently
  • Identifying technical issues and discrepancies, reporting to lead and manager
  • Performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of KC-46 aircraft systems, including airframe, fuel systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, flight controls, and mechanical components
  • Working safely within fuel tanks for inspections, repairs, and modifications in compliance with safety standards
  • Interpreting technical data such as manuals, drawings, service bulletins, and retrofit instructions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions in aircraft systems
  • Performing inspections, preventive, phase, and scheduled maintenance checks
  • Using specialized tools and equipment
  • Updating aircraft maintenance data via computer systems
  • Maintaining certifications and complying with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Working various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
General Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring efficient work effort and First Time Quality
  • Following guidance from leads and SMEs
  • Wearing required safety equipment
  • Completing training requirements and maintaining certifications
  • Demonstrating safety and organizational standards
  • Communicating via basic computer systems
  • Reporting incidents and contributing to safety culture
  • Supporting continuous improvement and team collaboration
  • Performing other duties as required
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of maintenance and repair experience on military or commercial aircraft, preferably KC-46 or similar
  • Ability to safely work within aircraft fuel tanks (10x18 opening)
  • 3+ years of systems diagnostics and troubleshooting experience
  • Reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering data
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FAA A&P certification
  • Experience on KC-46 or other military tanker aircraft
  • Additional certifications in fuel system maintenance and safety
  • Leadership or mentorship experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance best practices and safety protocols
