Job Overview
As a Security professional, you are amongst some of the most valued associates at our properties. Your presence and knowledge reassure both residents and guests that the safety and security of the property is being properly cared for by a dedicated and detail-oriented associate.
Responsibilities- Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
- Accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Follow safety procedures and strive to maintain a safe work environment.
- Patrol, walk property, and gatehouse.
- Report all property violations.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision‑making abilities are necessary.
- Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast‑paced environment.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate successfully with residents and team.
- Possess and maintain a Class D Security license.
- Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods, climbing stairs, and navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function.
- Work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
- Repeat various motions with wrists, hands and fingers.
Saturday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm;
Sunday & Monday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
As a part‑time non‑exempt associate, you will be eligible for full supplemental benefits to include dental and vision. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.
Compensation$17.00 per hour
