Job Description

As a Security Officer – Unarmed Financial Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned locations within financial institutions, deterring incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service. This role is a driving post, offering an engaging environment where you can demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and integrity while supporting the security‑related needs of the community.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Fri 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following procedures, site policies, and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using training to address concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and spot potential issues.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on‑site personnel to maintain a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities per site and company protocols.

• Three or more years of law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred; may be completed post‑hire.
• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state or local laws may be required.
