Position Purpose
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative! This person is responsible for performing investigative research to qualify prospects (new business opportunities), monitor and report on lead activities; and managing the marketing-to-sales pipeline. Effective utilization of Salesforce and supporting technologies are required.
Responsibilities- Generate outbound leads and opportunities through email prospecting and cold calling.
- Contact and lead research using Zoom Info and Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Management of sales data, documents, and correspondence in Salesforce & Hubspot.
- Develop and manage activities to ensure the sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads & prospects.
- Work together with Sales Directors to identify new opportunities and work with product marketing to further develop and nurture those opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Tenacity and the ability to overcome objections related to sales.
- Outstanding communication skills and executive presence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge: B2B technology or SaaS experience preferred.
- Critical Thinking Skills
- The successful candidate will have the ability to gather prospect purchasing intent, qualification, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and inform the Sales VPs. - Behavioral Skills
- The successful candidate will be self-directed, work well alone or in a team structure, highly results oriented, and willing to learn and expand his/her technical knowledge base through formal education, professional training, and self-study. - Be self-directed and resilient.
- B2B Sales experience at any level.
- Proven track record of using Account-based Marketing (ABM) to inform outreach efforts.
- Ability and desire to drive change through high-energy, can-do attitude, comfortable working in a high-performance, entrepreneurial, open-door environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in manufacturing, hospitality or retail is an advantage.
