Position SummarySales Agents receive inbound telephone calls (no outbound calling) as a result of various ADT marketing and partner campaigns. Engage with interested Security and Smart Home customers to close sales, retain existing customers who are moving, and schedule install appointments with our ADT Field employees.
Responsibilities- Answer new and existing customer phone calls while following sales processes.
- Assist existing customers with their moving process including disconnecting their current service and assuming the sale at the new address.
- Overcoming objections to gather leads and secure sales in the new home.
- Consultatively work with customers to close sales by gathering information, determining needs and scheduling installation appointments.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by determining needs and transferring calls to the appropriate party for resolution, performing follow-up including quotes, information requests, etc.
- One year of sales and/or retention experience preferred.
- Proven sales ability and closing skills.
- De-escalation skills to ensure callers receive the best customer experience.
- Strong listening skills used to conduct needs analysis.
- Application skills to use what you learn on the call to overcome sales objections.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task while speaking to prospects.
- This role is onsite position in our Jacksonville, FL office.
- After 6 months in the role, you may be eligible for a remote schedule. Once in a remote schedule, agents are required to work onsite in our Jacksonville office for one week, every 5 weeks.
- Eligibility is based on meeting the training and performance goals established by your manager.
- The starting hourly rate for this position is $11.00 per hour plus commissions
