We are seeking a results‑oriented, highly organized professional to support the Jacksonville and Tampa sales teams by partnering closely with Account Executives and Managers to drive Total TV (linear, OTT, and digital) revenue growth. This role provides data‑driven insights, customized client solutions, and sponsorship support through advanced audience and competitive analysis, as well as pre‑sale and post‑campaign assistance. The position supports the creation and activation of integrated sponsor ships, ensuring seamless execution, performance tracking, and actionable reporting through cross‑functional collaboration.
With a focus on strengthening client partnerships and demonstrating measurable results, this position plays a critical role in driving growth and success across our platforms.
- Develop tailored packages, proposals and client‑focused sales presentations that clearly communicate Total TV (linear and digital) opportunities, deliverables, and value within integrated media campaigns.
- Act as a strategic advisor to Account Executives, leveraging deep knowledge of TEGNA’s products and solutions to support advertiser interactions.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic sponsorship initiatives, partnering with sales leadership to identify, pursue, and grow sponsor relationships aligned with the company’s brand, events, and programming.
- Ensure seamless sponsorship integration, tracking revenue and delivery metrics, and providing actionable insights to optimize results.
- Utilize market research to stay informed on industry trends and identify new opportunities with key target demographic and market areas.
- Assist the Jacksonville and Tampa sales teams with pre‑sale activities, including client research, market insights, competitive spending analysis, inventory management, and sales presentations.
- Analyze audience delivery using Comscore ratings and digital metrics to produce trend and ranking insights that demonstrate performance and support client pitches.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed on products, services, and processes.
- Prepare attribution reports for OTT and linear TV campaigns, synthesizing data into actionable presentations.
- Independently solve problems and make decisions to support the Jacksonville and Tampa sales teams effectively.
- Organize and manage campaign details for multiple team members and accounts using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Stay current on TEGNA’s product offerings, including broadcast, OTT, and audience‑targeted display and video, to make informed client recommendations.
- Cross‑train with Account Managers, Digital Sales Specialist, and Sales Operations Supervisor, and Director of Research, to gain a comprehensive understanding of sales operations and station research.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in business or marketing.
- 4+years related experience in pre‑sale solution role, preferably within the advertising/media industry or sponsorship management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management.
- Experience building presentations, extensive knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Knowledge of media ratings (Comscore) and Competitive Intelligence software (AdImpact).
- Problem solver, ability to multitask.
