Job Overview

Join as Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto) at Direct Auto Insurance. Product line: auto, life, auto club, roadside assistance.

• Build rapport, repeat trust, new business sales.
• Attract and generate new customers, cross sell existing customers.
• Sell to walk-in customers, market products via calls, in-person visits.

• 0-2 years experience.
• P&C licensing preferred; must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining.

• Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
• Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross sell / retention of customers.
• Leverages community contacts (natural market) to continually build a sales pipeline, as well as an active physical presence in your own community to build multiple centers of influence/referral sources.
• Initiates outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings.
• Monitors key competitors in the local market area and makes suggestions on initiatives.
• Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes.
• Delivers optimal results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
• Understands, promotes, and remains current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures.
• Receives customer payments, issues receipts and verifies reports of receipts for cash drawers.

• Unlicensed candidates: $17.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
• Licensed candidates (Auto/P&C): $20.00 per hour + incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses.
