Job DescriptionThe Outbound Sales Representative will generate revenue by making outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, contacting them for sales, account updates, and promotional pricing. The role focuses on exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and identifying the most effective products that best fit the customer’s needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Make outbound calls for promotions, special pricing, and to actively convert calls into sales through predictive dialers and manual dialing.
- Provide feedback on customer reactions and program improvements.
- Meet quality, efficiency, and revenue goals established for each individual and team; meet attendance expectations.
- Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Compile and manage lead lists of prospective customers from Internet websites and other sources.
- Make outbound lead‑follow‑up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone, qualifying leads and selling products and services.
- Use coaching, training sessions, and one‑to‑one meetings to take ownership of personal development.
- Represent positively in all customer interactions.
- Actively support, at all times, company policy and best practices in security, with special emphasis on protecting sensitive customer information.
- Maintain awareness of all products and services in the company so that every opportunity to meet customers’ needs is taken.
- Detail‑oriented team player who works well in a fast‑paced setting.
- Proficient verbal, telephone, and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with a good work ethic, organized with proven time‑management skills.
- Experience in sales and interpersonal skills.
- Basic problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three to four years of experience in a sales call‑center environment preferred.
