Meat Case Runner Associate

The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, safety, and profitability of Rowe’s fresh cut meat products. This role requires excellent teamwork and presentation skills. The position follows the Market manager’s merchandising plan and meets trim/preparation standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
- Ensure displays and case signs are updated and presented to maximize sales.
- Fill, rotate, and maintain meat products and displays.
- Maintain high sanitization and presentation standards.
- Assist in other duties as assigned.
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.
- Assist as needed to ensure the success of the store.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and problem-solve.
- Ability to work well with others and as a team.
- Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, detail oriented, consistent, and forward focused.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- A passion for serving others.
Meat Runners perform duties primarily in the meat area, where the temperature ranges from 38 to 45°F. Work involves reaching, bending, balancing, and carrying product weighing up to 100 pounds, repetitive arm and hand movements, eye‑hand coordination, significant hand strength, and standing in place for long periods.
