About the Job

• Implement basic alteration services (hemming, patch and repair, tapering) and more technical alterations (e.g. fitting/tailoring items other than jeans, where more technical equipment is necessary; detailed appearance altering processes, embroidery).
• Provide customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Educate and train store teams on customer offerings provided by the Tailor Shop.
• Assist with responsibilities on the selling floor and in the fitting room as requested by store management.
• Comply with Levi's® policies and programs.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Experience with denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
• Understanding of textiles and fabrics with skills in sewing, tailoring and textile repair.
• Awareness of design trends.
• Enjoy engaging with clients and store team.

About You

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of sewing/tailoring experience and knowledge of jeans construction.
• Knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; use hands to type and operate tools of the tailor shop as needed.
• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, lifting, climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

• Open to working a flexible schedule to meet our needs, including evening and weekend shifts.
