The purpose of this position is to ensure customers leave the store with a positive experience. This person will perform cashier duties—scanning items quickly and accurately, handling money, and giving accurate change in checkout lanes. This role will also provide support to the store accounting operations and will work variable evening hours/shifts.

• Balance office by counting all tender and completing balance reports.
• Count down and reconcile register tills.
• Accept payments and provide change when appropriate.
• Handle cash and other forms of tender accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Deliver a great shopping experience and contribute to a positive environment of teamwork.
• Bags products when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and clean register area.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.

• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.

Cash Office Associates perform their duties primarily at the front end of the store, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. Work involves standing at a register for prolonged periods, repetitive arm and hand movements, moving and lifting product, and continuous interaction with customers and fellow associates.
