OverviewJoin the freezer, cooler, and deli team and support operations and sanitary conditions in our freezers and coolers that keep our product ready for our members. In the deli department, you’ll be on the front lines of customer service, where your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. The role involves stocking, maintaining product quality, and helping members find what they need.
Whatyou’ll do
- Maintains safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
- Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area in accordance with Company policies; receives and stocks merchandise; sets up, cleans, and organizes product displays; removes damaged goods; signs and prices merchandise; completes required audits and documentation; and secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
- Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing Deli products, resolving issues, and promoting Company products and services.
- Follows Company policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following Cold Chain procedures when stocking; cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area; monitoring fans, drains, and doors; and reporting issues to Management.
- Supports maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
