As a sales associate, you will be the face of our company. You will highlight our brand and image while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers and their opinions. You will be responsible for assisting customers and helping them recognize the need for our products and services. Must be capable of learning about our products and articulating our purpose in an educational, insightful, and professional manner.

- Proactively engage with customers and make connections.
- Ask questions and listen to customer needs.
- Guide customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships, taking accountability for your actions and outcomes.
- Maintain store appearance.
- Cross-sell products and understand the store layout.
- Make suggestions based on customer needs, current trends, and promotions.
- Upsell products.
- Learn product features and stay updated on trends, using company tools to confidently provide product knowledge.
- Handle transactions using the Point-of-Sales system, including cash, discounts, gift cards, credit, and debit cards.
- Complete paperwork, reports, and reconciliations.
- Manage merchandise, ensure proper check-in and ticketing, and participate in inventories.
- Adhere to work schedules and follow through on assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic product knowledge preferred.
- Retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions and manuals.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to multitask, work as part of a team, and take initiative.
This position involves constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for extended periods. May involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is primarily indoors but may include outdoor tasks depending on the location.
