As a Field Merchandiser Floater, you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion, you may also support other products from other companies in the stores you service.
SALARYAND SCHEDULE DETAILS
- Your starting pay will be between $14.00 and $14.50 depending on your skills and experience.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 6 and 8 per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital. - Holiday support:
During seasonal demand peaks such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may experience additional days and extended hours. You may be required to work on the actual holiday and on weekends. - Department resets:
You may be part of a team that installs and resets Hallmark fixtures, relocates card departments, and performs retail remodels. Notifications for remodel assignments are typically given two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends. - Team collaboration:
As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers who support one another as needed.
This is a physically demanding job that requires energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and sometimes climb stairs or step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Have Wi‑Fi network and internet access.
- Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
