What you'll doJoin to apply for the Merchandise and Stocking Associate role. The responsibilities include ensuring members can find the products they need, moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and stocking shelves. This fast-paced role can be physically demanding and involves staying active and organized to keep the store neat and member-friendly.
- Provide member service, acknowledge members, identify needs, and assist with purchases and merchandise location.
- Unload trucks and assist with stocking in the backroom and on the sales floor.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, set up displays, and ensure pricing and signage follow company policies.
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude; maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Assist with club pick up orders, staging, and ensuring products are selected and staged according to policy.
You will make an impact by promptly unloading trucks, assisting fellow associates, rotating and merchandising products, and supporting a safe and efficient shopping environment.
Safety, operations, and standardsMaintains safety of facility by following safety procedures, handling and disposing of materials per guidelines, correcting unsafe situations, and upholding company standards.
- Monitor product quality, rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain sales floor presentation, signage, and product displays; identify shrink and damages.
- Ensure fragile and high-shrink merchandise is secured and handled appropriately.
- Follow policies, procedures, and ethics standards in daily work.
