Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing and cooking a high volume of diverse dishes efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, demonstrating excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
We are looking for someone who is career oriented in the hospitality industry. This position has high growth potential into a lead cook or sous chef position. Our pay is above the industry average for North Florida. All full‑time (over 32 hour/week) employees receive paid time off, paid holidays and are eligible to enroll in our health care plan.

- Execute precise and timely preparation of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various cooking techniques, including grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking, while consistently delivering high‑quality dishes.
- Excel in high‑pressure situations, efficiently handling large quantities of orders during peak times without compromising on food quality.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination in the preparation and delivery of dishes.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our quality standards, both in terms of taste and presentation.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in monitoring and managing kitchen inventory, communicating effectively when supplies need to be replenished.
- Adapt to changes in the menu, special requests, or dietary restrictions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ability to work with team members of varying skill sets, cultural demographics and ages is necessary.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Line Cook with management level responsibilities in a high‑volume restaurant or catering setting.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and well‑versed in kitchen equipment operation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle a fast‑paced kitchen environment effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively in a high‑stress environment.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing menu items or kitchen requirements.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and withstand the physical demands of a busy kitchen.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Ability to combine all the above traits to create memorable culinary experiences for the membership.
