Responsibilities
Wekiva Springs Center, located in Jacksonville, Florida, has an immediate opening for a cook. Cooks are responsible for the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle. Overall cleanliness of the kitchen, cafeteria area, dishes, and storage areas is the shared responsibility of all dietary staff.
QualificationsThe position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of six months of commercial experience and/or training. The candidate must pass the Serve Safe certification within six months of hire. Candidates must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds on occasion, and be prepared for long hours on their feet with frequent bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and occasional crawling.
