Product Introduction Quality Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 6-month contract role in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on quality governance activities including Technical Review Board (TRB) participation, Change Control Board (CCB) support, and ensuring compliance within a regulated medical device environment.

To be considered, candidates must have experience working within structured change control processes, cross-functional quality reviews, and regulated quality systems.

Pay Range: $40/hr. –45/hr. on W2 (The pay rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Quality Engineer responsibilities include:

• Participate in Technical Review Board (TRB) discussions and provide risk-based quality input
• Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities including impact assessment and documentation review
• Review engineering changes, deviations, and CAPA activities for compliance and quality impact
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams
• Ensure alignment with FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements
• Support validation strategy reviews and quality documentation updates
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within regulated processes
• Maintain clear documentation and support audit readiness

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Experience working as a Quality Engineer in medical device or regulated industry
• Hands-on exposure to TRB or similar technical review forums
• Strong experience with Change Control / ECO / CR / CCB processes
• Understanding of Design Controls, Risk Management, and CAPA
• Experience supporting validation or NPI activities
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have

Skills:

• R&D or Design Quality exposure
• FDA-regulated manufacturing experience
• Agile or cross-functional program support
