VCA Augustine Loretto Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant Supervisor to help oversee clinic operations and lead our team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.

About the RoleAs Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Directing workflow on the floor
- Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture
- Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital
- Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates
- Assist in the educational development of technicians and their skills
- Conduct staff meetings
- Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
- Mentor technicians within the department
- Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
- Refine and implement protocols
- Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff
Being a Technician Supervisor means you are a believer in the possibilities of high‑quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know‑how to make them happen. You will work alongside our Veterinarians, Hospital Manager, and Assistant Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently, and foster a winning environment.
Qualifications- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant with comparable skill set
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Team leadership experience
- Passion for Veterinary Medicine
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
