Job Summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is now hiring Registered Nurses for our ICU Flex/Float Team! This is a PRN position requiring a commitment of 1 shift a week. Openings are for nights (12 hr shifts). Self‑scheduling. ICU experience only. May float to PCU as needed. Ability to be flexible and float between Downtown and one other campus.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

• Bachelor’s Degree – Nursing (Required)
• Master’s Degree – Nursing (Preferred)

• 2 years Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Experience (Required)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification – Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse – Required
