Job Summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is now hiring Registered Nurses for our PCU Flex/Float Team. This is a PRN position requiring a commitment of 1 shift per week. Openings for nights (12-hr shifts). Self scheduling. PCU experience required. May float to Tele/Med-Surg as needed. Ability to be flexible and float between Downtown and one other campus. New pay rate.

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Education

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Preferred:
  Master’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• 2+ years Progressive Care experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
