Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN night shift position in our high‑risk, Level III, Labor and Delivery unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. As a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at Baptist Jacksonville you will:

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process
• Organize and supervision care provided by supportive personnel
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Include patients and families in developing and individualized plan of care
• Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care for high‑risk obstetrical patients including outpatient services and additional surgical procedures
• Uphold the hospital mission statement
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

• 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Less than 1 year Newborn Nursery Experience
• Less than 1 year Mother/Baby Nursing Experience

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred Location
