Job SummaryWolfson Children’s Hospital is looking for a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Surgery Center team. Full‑time days position working day shift Monday‑Friday. This position is located at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Jacksonville, FL (Downtown) Surgery Center. There is no weekend or holiday rotation. We are looking for CNAs who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care.
CNAs assist RNs and work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Working with perianesthesia
- Assisting patients and getting them ready for surgery
- Cleaning and turning over the beds
- Restocking
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
