Overview
Baptist Health seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who thrives in a fast-paced environment to focus on providing quality patient care in our Neuro Step Down Unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, FL (Downtown). This 24 bed unit will be a Step-Down unit for the Neuro ICU to provide care for patients that are somewhat medically stable and may not require the high level intense medical care of the ICU, but still require intense, nursing care and monitoring.
This is a Full-Time, Nights opportunity working 36 hours per week with shifts of 7:00pm-7:00am. Up to $750 Sign-On Bonus for FT Nights CNA*.
- Patient activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. CNAs work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
