• Provides for patient needs as recognized through the use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Involves patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Educates patients/SO/families about their disease process and plan of care.

• Education Required:
  
  Associate's Degree - Nursing
• Education Preferred:
  Bachelor  Degree - Nursing

• Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
• Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
