Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Oncology team at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time, Days opportunity. This role supports our outpatient palliative care clinic where you will build meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients and families while providing compassionate, patient-centered care focused on symptom management, care coordination, and improving quality of life throughout the care journey.

As An Oncology Registered Nurse, You Will

• Positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based patient care for patients reaching out to BMDA via the Nurse Triage line.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and appropriately use resources to achieve the highest quality of patient care.
• Resolve issues at first call to provide positive patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Educate patients/SO/families on their disease process and plan of care.
• Provide optimum care utilizing the nursing process.

Education Required
:
Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred
:
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

• 1-2 years Nursing Experience Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
