The Charge Registered Nurse (RN)/Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care on the West Medical/Surgical/Oncology Unit during the designated shift.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient‑centered care.
• Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
• Recommend and implement courses of action for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support proper inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher, obtained within 3 years of hire/transfer.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where practiced and/or holding an active Compact/Multi‑State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate, obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• At least 2 years prior Hospital/Acute Care RN experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Full Time, Day Shift, 12‑hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Rotating weekends and holidays required.
