Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Florida or compact state preferred

• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

• NIH Stroke Scale certification

• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical healthcare environment
OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients

• Prepare the operating room and assist with surgical equipment setup and sterilization

• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during surgical procedures

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and comply with hospital policies

• Support patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement protocols
