NURSE PRACTITIONER – ADVANCED

Position:
Wekiva Springs Center, Jacksonville, FL

Immediate opening for a Per Diem Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). A Master’s degree in nursing and an active NP license in Florida are required. Candidates must have knowledge of psychopharmacology and a minimum of one year of clinical experience with psychiatric or mental health adult patients.

Oversees the quality of care delivered to assigned patients (caseload of 16–20) alongside a supervising psychiatrist. Performs psychiatric assessments, completes documentation for patients under civil commitment statutes, and provides individual and family therapy, medication management, and psychiatric consultation as needed. Available for on‑call and weekend shifts.

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience with psychiatric or mental health adult patients.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology.
