Job Summary: We are looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baptist Primary Care Regency. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Sign-on Bonus: Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available*
As the Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing assistance to physicians and maintain medical documentation. This LPN supports the clinical and call center operations of a high-volume family medicine and pediatric primary care practice, ensuring exceptional care for children of all ages. You will utilize approved pediatric telephone triage protocols, provide high-quality in-office clinical support, and maintain adherence to the CDC/ACIP pediatric immunization schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling care and treatment
- Ordering diagnostic tests
- Processing prescriptions
- Referrals
- Beginning IV therapy
- Administering medicines
- Providing patient information
Education Required: Vocational School
Education Preferred: Associate’s Degree – Nursing
Experience:
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to deliver safe, evidence-based informed care, both over the phone and in person
- Ability to apply pediatric telephone triage protocols
- Proficiency with primary care guidelines for patients across the lifespan
License and Certification:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
- Licensed Practical Nurse Required
