- Responsible for producing quality welds according to specifications, ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetics of our products.
- Perform MIG welding to assemble and fabricate roof curbs and related components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Prepare and set up welding equipment, materials, and parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
- Ensure quality control through precise measurements and inspections of welds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- MIG welding experience or formal training
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a welding test
