Position: Warehouse Associate

Departments: Order Selectors, Order Packers, LTL Shippers, Tire & Wheel Specialists

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 10:30am - 8:00pm plus Overtime as required.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Retrieves all parts available and delivers them back to packing station. Bags and marks as instructed. Restocks shelves as necessary. Ensures that parts picked are the correct items on customer's order. Inspects parts for any defects. Clean-up work area daily. Proficient in Windows.
• Receives pick list from station and determines correct packing materials needed to safely pack items. Stocks packing station. Visually inspects product for correct item and/or defects. Packs items in designated cartons. Clean-up work area daily. Proficient in Windows, WMS and Shipping software. Experience working with conveyors.
• Visually inspects product for correct item and/or defects
• All positions are crossed trained for assembly, shipping, picking, packing
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• School diploma or equivalent required
• Will train the right candidates if no experience.
• Prefer 1-3 years' experience in a warehouse environment picking or packing
• Prefer previous experience on Forklift, Cherry Picker, and electric pallet jacks

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting up to 70 pounds,

Frequent lifting is 50 pounds or less.

Frequently Push and pull up to 70 pounds force

Limited Exposure to environmental conditions

Environmental Exposure:

Climate Controlled Distribution Center

Is potentially exposed to battery acid, propane, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a warehouse. Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
