MIG Welder​/Manufacturing​/Fabrication

Responsible for various types of curb, product assembly and final assembly operations to manufacture product

to drawings, and specifications.

The position is in a manufacturing/fabrication environment that is not climate

controlled. Not a warehouse position.

Preferred: MIG Welding

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the

task at hand.

• Working with sheet metal & insulation

• Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.

• Assembly equipment maintenance & assembling curbs

• Continuous process improvement

• Safety and housekeeping.

• Fast paced environment, ability to multitask

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under dynamic schedule constraints and consistently meet deliverable timelines.

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with

hands and arms.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth

perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Personal Protective Equipment may be required when working in designated areas. The noise level in

the work environment is moderate.

• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English

language.

• Experience mig welding 20-10 gauge sheet metal

• Experience with mig welding or documented welding training

• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English

language.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,

percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
