Azure Systems Engineer

Job Overview

Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who will be supporting Azure-based cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on AI-enabled systems, automation, and enterprise reliability.

• Advanced administration, security, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise server environments, including AI-enhanced monitoring and intelligent automation.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications and AI workloads.
• Design and support Azure and hybrid infrastructure for machine learning, deep learning, and AI workloads.
• Build and automate scalable AI pipelines using Python, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
• Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, backups, and hybrid cloud resources supporting AI platforms.
• Monitor performance, ensure security and compliance, provide Tier 3 support, and mentor junior engineers.

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field (preferred)
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed.
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
