Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking a Sanitation 2nd shift to join their team. As a Sanitation 2nd shift, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting a clean and safe production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sanitation 2nd shift
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay: $16 an hour
What's the Job?
Perform the proper sanitizing and cleaning of processing and production equipment.
Follow standard operating procedures for sanitizing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Complete cleaning checklists on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as needed.
Verify the concentrations and effectiveness of sanitations through chemical testing.
Monitor detergent and cleaning supplies inventories and maintain proper protective equipment usage.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Willingness and ability to be cross‑trained on different pieces of machinery.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
