Night Shift Food Sanitation Technician

Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking a Sanitation 2nd shift to join their team. As a Sanitation 2nd shift, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting a clean and safe production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation 2nd shift

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay: $16 an hour

What's the Job?

• Perform the proper sanitizing and cleaning of processing and production equipment.

• Follow standard operating procedures for sanitizing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Complete cleaning checklists on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as needed.

• Verify the concentrations and effectiveness of sanitations through chemical testing.

• Monitor detergent and cleaning supplies inventories and maintain proper protective equipment usage.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Willingness and ability to be cross‑trained on different pieces of machinery.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
