• Assists supervisors in shift production operations.
• Demonstrates competency on all on‑job activities that impact product safety, legality and quality.
• Ensures production employees are instructed and trained in the safe operation of equipment.
• Reviews records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials, and performs continuous inspection of products to meet quality standards.
• Ensures all equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promotes positive relations and interdepartmental communication.
• May be responsible for operating the facility metal detector(s); operator must be fully trained and certified.
• Enforces safety policies and procedures, including inspections and periodic safety meetings.
• Occasionally covers for employees absent due to sickness or vacation.
• Plans and adjusts work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of production.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Ensures compliance with all company rules, policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.).
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
• Completes AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course and any other duties deemed by management integral to the job.

• Two (2) or more years of experience in all areas of plant production work.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
