Fabrication Supervisor / Production Manager

The Signage Fabricator is responsible for the construction, assembly, and finishing of high-quality custom signage, adhering to design specifications, and company standards. This role requires expertise in various fabrication techniques, material handling, and operation of specialized machinery.

• Fabrication and Assembly:
  Construct and assemble various types of signs, interpreting design specifications and selecting appropriate materials. This includes cutting, shaping, and preparing materials using precision measurement techniques and specialized tools.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
  Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as , welding, and vinyl plotters. Perform routine maintenance as needed. CNC router knowledge is a bonus.
• Finishing and Quality Control:
  Apply finishes to signage and ensure all fabricated signs meet quality standards.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet specifications and timelines.
• Safety & Workspace Management:
  Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean workspace.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Proven experience in sign fabrication or equivalent.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient in interpreting sign details drawings/blueprints and use of fabrication equipment. Strong math skills are also required.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Must have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials. Must be comfortable working in a shop environment.

• Driver's license and ability to install signs.
• Experience with computer software.
• Welding or metal fabrication experience.

Electrical knowledge is a bonus.

Based on experience
