The Automated Pouching Operations Line Mechanic/Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pouching machines to ensure efficient production and high‑quality output. This role involves performing routine maintenance, addressing mechanical issues, and ensuring safety and quality standards compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor pouching machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pouching machines to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize production interruptions.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine performance, maintenance tasks, and quality control data.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth production processes.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in pouching operations.
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good computer skills to use the Manufacturing Reporting System.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and handle materials throughout the shift.
