Warehouse/Forklift Operator – Hood Distribution

Hood Distribution, a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings and related wood products located in Jacksonville, FL, is looking for a Warehouse/Forklift Operator.

• Experience in warehouse operations and distribution, including operating electric forklifts.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber and/or plywood preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Capability to load and unload trailers.
• Good math and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Background check and drug screen required.
• All employment offers contingent upon meeting background check standards and successful drug test.
• Documentation of legal right to work in the U.S. required for hire.
