Shift: 1st and 2nd shift

Pay: $17-19.25 based on shift

Location: Northside, Jacksonville (32226)

Engage in the manufacturing and assembly of Industrial Power Systems within a heavy‑industrial manufacturing facility. This role involves mechanical assembly, particularly working with sheet metal and assembling metal enclosures for the systems.

• Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems using sheet metal.
• Assemble metal enclosures for the systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools including drills, tape measures, screwdrivers, wrenches, and impact tools.
• Follow blueprints for unit assembly and collaborate in team settings.
• Stand, stoop, and bend throughout the day to access various assemblies.
• Assemble units that are on average 8 ft. tall, including working inside the units when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols including wearing steel‑toe shoes on the first day.

• Experience in production work using hand and power tools.
• Proficiency in manufacturing assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Capability to stand for the entire shift and lift over 50 pounds.
• Skill in moving sheet metal.

• Previous experience in manufacturing assembly is preferred.
• Blueprint reading is advantageous.

This role offers a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with potential for pay raises and profit‑sharing bonuses. Work in a large, open bay production facility featuring multiple workstations and bays. The production floor is not climate‑controlled, but industrial‑sized ceiling fans help circulate air. Safety is prioritized, requiring safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs around louder areas with CNC machinery and fabrication equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Jacksonville,FL.
