Epsilon Systems Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Painter III in Mayport, FL.

The position is involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing process and ensures that goods and services are produced efficiently. Ensure the production personnel meet or exceed the expectations of the specifications while conforming to PYR's QMS, Nav-Sea Standard Items in a safe and effective manner.

• Interfacing with the customer as needed.
• Able to perform Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) MRC checks as required by contract. This includes details and checks associated with Painting, Piping and Machinery onboard LCS Freedom Class variant vessels.
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Reading, interpreting, and applying technical data including, but not limited to, government specifications, engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical manuals
• Working out the labor and material resources needed; drafting a timeline for the job and setting the quality standards.
• Assist in monitoring the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
• Working with managers to assist on the implementation of the company's policies and goals.
• Ensure that all established safety policies are administered and enforced in all areas and effectively practice the policies and procedures of the Health and Safety Program.
• Assist in reviewing the performance of subordinates, identifying training needs.
• Able to obtain and maintain access to US military and/or government installations

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the industry.
• Good computer skills are a must, including all MS Office programs and ability to conduct research on the Internet.
• DOT/EPA/RECRA/OSHA Certified
• Completed the NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector training and /or SSPC/NACE Level I course.
• Ability to travel required.
• Ability to work outside of trade.
